Vitae-Group's history began with the union of its founding partners: Julia Queiroz and Gustavo Mori. Brazilians, both living in the United States for many years, they met each other in their professional journeys after both had closely faced the daily challenges of a foreigner arriving in the US, especially in the first years.
The insurance of all branches are in fact VERY different and they realized the need to demystify and facilitate the understanding of this sector to all those who do not have the opportunity to better understand it, be it the nomenclatures of health insurance or even the extreme importance of having a liability insurance.The combination of professional experiences that each of the partners brought through their previous professional activities added to continuous studies and practice experienced by each of them in their personal lives, enabled both to have a worldwide prominence in the insurance sector. This diversification, the awards and quality of service from both partners led to an M&A between their agencies, starting one of the largest and most complete insurance brokers specialized and licensed to operate in several U.S. states and several countries.
The experience of both partners was fundamental in the selection and training of an organized, competent team with an irrevocable philosophy of minimizing the clients' daily challenges, offering a wide and prompt response to their needs.
She began her academic career at UERJ (State University of Rio de Janeiro) studying Actuarial Science and then moved on to graduate Business Administration at UniverCidade. Post-graduated in Insurance from FUNENSEG, Julia completed her studies in the insurance area at the Gold Coast School in Miami.
In Brazil, Julia was one of the partners of a renowned insurance company, which helped her broaden her studies and knowledge by working for the largest and leading insurance companies in the country. Her company managed a portfolio with a few hundred thousand insureds focused on the benefits area.
Julia is also the President of LIDE Women Miami, since 2021.
Since 2019, Founder of a group focused on Philanthropy, the "Confraria do Bem" and Board Member of the Foundation: "IF YOU FOUNDATION", based in Orlando.
Gustavo Mori studied Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic School of USP (University of São Paulo) and Financial Management at Anhembi-Morumbi.
He worked for 11 years at the investment bank Credit Suisse, starting his career as a trainee, and ending his career in the company as Vice President.
He received several promotions over the years, standing out as Head Trader of equities on the trading desk for corporate clients, and participated directly in the IPO of several companies. He was selected among the top ten associates in the US to participate in a company development program.
In 2016, Gustavo Mori founded Vitae Group, where he is currently a Managing Partner, being responsible for the operational and client service areas.
In 2018 he was awarded "Best Seller Agent" - a global award received in South Africa. In 2022, representing Vitae Group, he joined the select "Top of the Table" group of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).
